INSPIRATION

The responsibility for giving the Inspiration is one of the first real opportunities to speak available to a repeat visitor or new member.

Prepare a 30 to 90 second story, poem, or thought on something that is inspiring.  Do you have a saying hung on your wall that is especially meaningful?  Use your imagination and creativity in this assignment.

The President will call the meeting to order and then call on you, asking for the inspiration.  Stand by your seat and begin by saying, Mr. (or Madame) President, fellow Toastmasters, and guests

After you have given your Inspiration, you can return control of the meeting to the President by simply saying:  Mr./Madam President.
